is that many (if not most) of the ones waving those flags come from families that are often only 2nd or 3rd generation (if that), having come through Ellis Island, and the ones they are yelling at descend from people who were either dragged here kicking and screaming hundreds of years ago or whose ancestors were here during a time when Europe was still covered in ice sheets many thousands of years ago.
