Some, or even most, might think Trump was a Manchurian candidate. But there is definitely sections, like the NY FBI, that were pro-Trump and against Hillary. Also, Gulliani was working with that NY FBI for the Hillary stuff at the time.

I don't exactly know if Comey was a mole. But he forced his own hand back in June 2016 to promise to update the Senate about any news about the Hilary investigation. Then the NY FBI and the republicans in Senate was ready to cook up the BS about Hilary's "reopen" investigation in October.

There is much blame to go around, the most falling on Comey for being weak director for failing to reign in rogue subordinates working with Ghouliani out of the NY FBI office. There are of course the agents, Ghouliani and Chaffetz who also shared the blame of failing the nation by bestowing the worst, and wannabe fascist, most inept, white supremacist president to ever step foot in the WH.

Republicans in Congress were going to criticize him if he treated their nonsense about 'Hillary's crimes' as it deserved, and indeed as a truly honest and impartial official would do. Namely give their fantasies the back of his hand.

But since criticism would damage his belief in his own perfection (for after all, the perfect will never be criticized), and there was a danger people might believe the criticism, so that there might then be people out there unconvinced he was the one honest and incorruptible man, he just had to show he was being fair by being unfair to someone he knew would not engage in the virulent criticism he could expect from the Republican bomb-throwers in the House and Senate.

It is probably best if I do not declare what punishment for the wretch strikes me as just and fair....

it wouldn’t matter. Trump exploits a loophole in our system. Presidents can do anything. Maybe outright 1st degree murder, recorded, verified, witnessed, etc. might get a President in a bind.

NOBODY in America should be above the law. NOBODY. Especially not the Atty. General.

We have a lot of laws that we now see need to be changed. It's going to be hell getting there, because those who ARE above the law will not give up that immunity easily, nor will those who hope some day they might be the ones who enjoy that immunity.
