retired Federal, driving to next office with husband when first one reported, still heading toward Penn Ave. when second one reported, and thought 'so much for Bush's nuclear umbrella; here we go.
Told to go home, and tried to 'negotiate' rides home for our daughters. We all made it home, including a friend of a daughter
Daughters @ their homes now with their own children, negotiating Virtual First Grade for their sons/my grandsons.
