I felt safe then...

I felt safe with Obama. I didn't have sleepless nights and anxiety attacks or live in fear 24/7. We were in safe hands.

The brilliant team that he brought with him gave me confidence in their humanity and their belief in the American people, all of them.

I watched Barack and Joe for eight years. They helped us recover our standing in the world. They got the economy back on track and gave millions health care, VAWA, LGBT rights, environmental protections without any help from the GOP that wanted them to fail.

We were in safe hands with Obama and anyone that he endorses will get my full support. I trusted Obama as I do Joe and will trust him with my life.

I didn’t always agree with everything Obama did..just almost always. But even when I didn’t agree, I never for a moment doubted that he had the best interests of the nation at heart. I also felt safe. He was the adult in the room of the world.

But he might be just as good.

To those who think Joe didn’t teach Obama anything, that he was just along for the ride.... Get your head on straight.

Biden is going to be awesome. In his own way. Well, he already is.

for where we are, we couldn't have a better President. One that knows the nuts and bolts of legislation, and which levers to push....but every now and then I hear a hint of Obama when Joe is speaking. In may ways they were probably each both teacher and student.

I haven't felt safe since I learned about the Cold War and mutually assured destruction, which would be in grade school. Plus, there was an abusive situation in my home that wrung out whatever expectation of safety might have been lurking.

By the time the Berlin Wall fell, I had grown out my hair and was getting harassed by cops periodically.

Then came the terrorist attacks: World Trade Center in '93, Oklahoma City in '95, Olympics in '96 and 9/11.

Safety is a luxury.

"I don't feel safe anymore". I never said that or felt that way about our country in my entire life. For me to say and mean that is a rarity indeed. I hope I can feel safe again someday.

Me, too.....both President Obama and Joe Biden are open, honest, caring men. They were both just trying to do their best for our country. I felt so sorry for President Obama because the Repukes, especially McConnell just vetoed every single thing he did. Both are good men and I trust them completely.
