Melania Trump's former advisor says relationship with Donald Trump is 'transactional'

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff met Melania Trump in 2003 while working at Vogue magazine

Melania Trump‘s former adviser is now the author of a memoir about her relationship with the first lady. Stephanie Winston Wolkoff spoke with BBC about her book “Melania and Me: The Rise and Fall of My Friendship with the First Lady.”

In the book, the first lady’s former friend said Melania’s marriage with President Donald Trump is “transactional.” She says that the Trumps use each other to further their own careers.

“I do believe it is a transactional marriage. Donald got arm candy, the Vogue cover legitimized Melania which legitimized Donald as well, and Melania got two dynamic decades,” Winston Wolkoff said.

said "I just grab 'em by ..." She said nothing really. Melania knows the relationship she & Donald have. They both got what they wanted.

That's why DT can do whatever he wants & she can too. Never any worries about jealously or complaints on either side.

doesn't seem to like travel, she doesn't luncheon with friends or go shopping anymore. She doesn't even have any hobbies or interests that I can see. Certainly no interest in being first lady.
I just wonder how she spends her days

I'm betting she'll file for divorce. She's got the son and trump will have to support him, and then there's whatever she gets in the pre-nup, and she'll write a tell-all.

I figure she's getting paid for every personal appearance she makes with Trump. Probably extra every time she has to hold his hand.

I don't think that anyone could truly "love" Trump. He has no redeeming qualities. He is access to the US, to money, and as stated, to some sort of legitimacy.

Relationships can be built on anything, but relationships that last are built on trust, emotional connection, and mutual respect. I don't think that either of them are capable of that. Certainly Trump is not. Once he leaves the White House, they will be divorced within a year.

I bet the little Russian wannabe Stalin was foaming at the mouth when he found out she slipped up and let the Killer Clown sneak around and talk to Woodward - and get taped while he was at it!

She should thank the stars the Gulag is gone...but she should be careful drinking tea.
