Guttenberg has been tireless in this fight. The fact that Biden reached out to the man says everything we need to know about Biden the man and Biden the leader.

This is an issue that can and must be addressed. These two men can/will make it happen!

That one still really pisses me off. Here's a guy who suffered immeasurable loss, and Chump threw him out like yesterday's trash. It's truly unforgivable if you ask me.

As much for Biden's compassion, as for this man's loss.

We SO need-- desperately--empathy + strength + intelligence in the White House.

The empathy factor comes naturally, along with compassion and charity when people are not: cynical, fearful, unhappy, desperate, unwanted, without purpose, hungry, exhausted, agonizingly sad, broke, hated, mistrusted, friendless, loveless, lonely, sick, unempowered, idle, uninformed, isolated, despondent, joyless or dead.

But, I hope he's not doing so at the expense of his remaining family, which would be an easy mistake to make.

I think of them often. for Jaime.

Imagine. I am a single parent with one child, my daughter. Fuck the NRA and Assault rifles. I own guns, because of white male Christians. This dad has amazing strength. Invite him back. Make up for the GOP escorting him out at the SOTU. A Presidential Medal of Freedom at Biden’s First SOTU. One to wipe the stench away from Rusty Limpballs award from Trump. Watch the GOP sit as he receives it. Which one would Jesus give that award to? Wish I had just a bit of the courage this father has shown.

I am so sorry for Mr. Guttenberg and the entire Guttenberg family. For everyone who lost someone they loved that day. Joe has so much kindness and empathy in him and it's real.

How can anyone even question who the right choice is in November?
