Does Trump really think most Americans are like those at his rallies?

Did he think he would be greeted by adoration at the Town Hall? I can see him being delusional, since his people probably keep him in a bubble and he mostly looks at Alt-Right News.

having his "cult" follow him and do his biding. He doesn't really care about them he just needs them to adore him, and they do.

Anyone who does not "adore" him, and suck up to him are the enemy, especially anyone who stands up to him and speaks out agains him and his insane ideas. One thing a narcissist, and trump is one, does is they NEVER forget those who confront them and disagree with them. They will aways be his enemy.
