Obama says making a voting plan is part of 'how to quarantine successfully'

Former President Obama is pushing young Americans to make a plan to vote, saying there are "a lot of people out there trying to confuse and mislead you about this election."

"They're trying to make you cynical," Obama says in the video released Wednesday by ATTN:. "They're trying to get you to believe that your vote doesn't matter. Do not let them do that."

Obama says in the video that over the last few months he's "learned a thing or two from young people about how to quarantine successfully," including how to make a "mean sourdough starter."

"You showed me the Renegade challenge - great name by the way - which I've been enjoying on my finsta," he says with a grin.
