Did anybody else in the hotel get sick? Were the bottles poisoned before or after they entered Navalny's room? IIRC Novichok is transmitted through touch (Skripal's doorknob, Dawn Sturgess' perfume bottle spray) so it may have been on the outside of the water bottles. Seems unlikely that Navalny picked up the poison somewhere else, drank some water and smeared the stuff on the bottles, and then still had time to go to the airport and get on a plane.
