(68,644 posts)They shouldn't be on a publicly supported train.
I only wish I could take credit for posting the "racist" banner on this ugly poster on this train.

Can Fox be branded like that?
Wouldn't it be wonderful if when you go into a place that defaults to Fox, and it comes on, a big banner stating LIES, RACIST, etc. would be there too? (conceptually only of course)

(11,464 posts)It would be interesting to find out how much secret payment of having Fox be the default there is out there.
(Sort of like when you go to movie and actor holds a can of soda, Coke or Pepsi pay for that moment either directly or indirectly).
Is it just a case here that the last few years, Fox nationwide somehow paid either the cable providers(which are just a few major corporations) so that the tv instantly turns on to Fox and someone has to take the time to change it(which sometimes might be a PITA for a regular employee to even find the remote and for a customer to bother to ask the owner/manager).
I have attempted to ask and not once has anyone in person, answered my question. The diner owner just said he won't change the station but did not reply to the payment question.
I know Fox bought out nationwide the one minute radio news every hour that ABC or CBS used to provide.
If Fox is paying the default to happen, then somehow we all need to nationwide attempt to get some one else to bid more next time for their station to be the default.
(Here is an example I know is true-when you stay at any disney place, either in L.A. or Orlando, their tv when you turn it on 100% of the time is their own infomercial park station.
So that indeed is possible.
And my own tv I have it set to Turner Classic movie to come up. So it's not random.
Question is-are the owners of the stores/hotels/restaurants/bars paid to default to Fox?
(this maybe should be a separate thread).
