douchebag. OMG. If he quoted Ronnie Raygun one more time I was going to barf. Get a load of this guy - he obviously has all the answers to the problems in the Middle East, wonder why he can't even make it through a primary????

(51,004 posts)I am grateful that he presented a strong focal point for New Yorkers in the hours after the attack. Everything he has done since then has been a disappointment.
That whole interview was irresponsible, imperialistic and fear mongering. For one thing, suggesting that the US should have squashed or "handled" the Egyptian overthrow of Mubarak is imbecilic.

(14,549 posts)Giuliani was kind of a drama queen every day of his administration and one day reality matched up to the level of hyperbole and jingoism that we had all gotten used to from him over everything from "squeegee men" to elephant poop at the Brooklyn museum. When I am tired of Bloomberg's soda wars I remind myself that Giuliani was 10x worse. He held a press conference every day, usually over nothing.
Giuliani's legacy is largely myth. He insisted on building his emergency command center in 7 WTC and then couldn't use it because (no surprise) that is where the 2nd attack happened (just like the 1993 attack) so he held an all day press conference running around in Tribeca. I see his experience and credentials as being similar to whoever was the Mayor of Pearl Harbor in 1942. He outshined Bush that day but that is setting the bar pretty low.

(683 posts)To claim that Raygun was a better President because he said " I WILL BOMB YOU" instead of Obama who states "All options are on the table". And he KEPT repeating that same line. IDIOT.
