How do you feel about Madonna?

Personally I can't stand her she says she is being ironic when she said Obama is a Muslim...I say why, why do that? Some say she is always reinventing herself...I say she is always looking for an opportunity to promote herself...and here she goes again....and here I go promoting her.

Madonna called Obama a "black Muslim in the White House." Madonna brought her MDNA Tour to Washington, D.C. on Monday night, and added a bizarre dose of politics to the show.

"Y'all better vote for f--king Obama, OK? For better or for worse, all right? We have a black Muslim in the White House. Now that's some amazing s--t," she said. "It means there is hope in this country. And Obama is fighting for gay rights, so support the man, goddamnit

Stop the madness, people.

She can sing, she can dance, she has style; she has been one of biggest stars in the world for nearly 30 years.

She likes to piss people off, but she pisses off all the right people on purpose. She was clearly joking.

And she has like 15-20 songs everyone in the western world knows by heart.

You don't have to like her, but acting like she's devoid of talent or unworthy of respect is crazy talk.

her marketing, self-promotion, and envelope-pushing talents are legendary, but her singing is passable at best. and she's always said that her product was the whole package, not the vocals. the dancing, the videos, the image, etc.

the real secret to her musical success is her EAR, not her voice.
she knows an infectious beat or a catchy tune or provocative lyrics when she hears it, and she knows to avoid songs that are beyond her limited vocal talents and she takes that and runs with it.

her singing is just good enough to get through those songs, which are NOT remotely challenging vocally.

if you want to really cringe, just imagine her singing something like "rolling in the deep" or "i will always love you". she wouldn't pass an american idol audition, for crying out loud.

I read somewhere she knocked out Crazy For You in one take, sight-unseen.

Worst thing about AI is that suddenly everyone's an armchair A&R. Madonna may not be the strongest singer in the world, but she's a pro vocalist who is a better singer than she gets credit for.

but if one hates Madonna and doesn't know what her politics are I guess it would be a good enough reason to pile on her.

and what is she and every woman supposed to do to stop the age process? die? hide in a closet after age 32, 29, 25?
