I guess since the GOP developed a liking for 'job creators' instead of 'wealthy' or 'rich' or 'upper class', we should help Rick come up with another term for 'middle class'.
How about 'middle-income consumers'? Or 'formerly-financially-okay-until- the-Wall-Street-mess group' ?

"....And the governor used a term earlier that I shrink from. It's one that I don't think we should be using as Republicans, "middle class." There are no classes in America. We are a country that don't allow for titles. We don't put people in classes. There may be middle-income people, but the idea that somehow or another we're going to buy into the class-warfare arguments of Barack Obama is something that should not be part of the Republican lexicon."

(6,699 posts)I'm sorry Man-on-dog, we are a country of classes. YOU might not think so, as you flit around to all the repug teas, but facts are facts...something you teabagger neocons prefer to ignore. We ARE a nation of classes....and more so everyday, like it or not.
