AUDIO: Demoralized By Polls, Conservatives Seek Psychological Help On Talk Radio

_______________

Conservatives are not taking the plummeting political fortunes of Massachusetts millionaire Mitt Romney well.

Right wing talk radio hosts are mounting a full-on campaign to tell their listeners to ignore polls showing President Obama surging ahead of Romney both at the state and national level. Top tier hosts like Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Mark Levin are trying to pull their devoted followers out of a funk.

On Levin’s show on Wednesday night, the far right host can be heard attempting to buck up a despondent caller about Romney’s election prospects.

Levin explained to the man that “this is the kick-ass hotline” and not one for “suicide,” then Levin pushed the caller to repeat the mantra “we will” in a scene that could have been ripped directly from a self-help group.

New polls today showed double-digit leads for Obama in Ohio and Pennsylvania and strongly positioned to win Florida as well.

Republicans and teafucks have done nothing but spew hatred against President Obama for almost four years. They never once behaved like an american that wants to see his or her country prosper. I am slobbering at the chance to help kick their fucking teeth in on November 6th. Republicans and teafucks love to talk about taking their country back, they are fucking delusional, this country belongs to all of us.

They have been listening to the talking heads for so long that they have no sense of reality and it is the only place they can go now.

And that source has prompted them into dragging our country through absolute hell for years, and still its blood-lust and greed can't be satiated. Thankfully their power has waned and now the true believers have nothing else to turn to. I guess they will dutifully believe the election was "stolen" after the President is re-elected.

When you're digging yourself into a hole, stop digging. Right-wing radio, television, the religious right and Faux News have them all fucked up. They can stay home if they want to, but if they do go to the polls on November 6th, the rest of the country is going to clean the floor with them.

Denial is just one of the symptoms of the "cult mentality" that has infested the national discourse for years.
And if the election turns out as we hope, the psychological upset that these cultists will suffer will be serious and significant.
And Romney, too. I don't think people realize how crazy, perverted, and weird it is to run for President for six years -- while doing NOTHING else. After all, in just about that length of time, Bill Clinton established the Clinton Global Initiative and was appointed to oversee the US rescue efforts in both Sumatra and Haiti.
I mean, good gawd. Think about that!
I believe Romney will have a nervous breakdown when he loses. And I will be looking for signs of that breakdown even before the election. Like, now, for instance. I mean, doesn't he sound a little nuts even now?
