That's my favorite line from Bartcop when someone presents a statistic without supporting information. Even if some statistics were presented that tended to support the assertion is there any research as to the cause? I'm sure there are some businesses that have not seen any sort of recovery since 2009, or haven't noticed it yet. But seriously, how many varied causes could there be beyond the control of the pres or govt policy in general.
It could just be a simple change in the market, being horned out by a larger company, cutting lose the wrong employees in a downturn. I've also worked for too many stupid people who through the accident of birth or the luck of contacts were running businesses they couldn't manage in the best of times. That's why I quit working in 2002.
Just calm down and use the good senses god gave you to observe the world around you and decide for yourself if it makes sense.
Since you're here, I expect you have good sense. Don't let em' piss you off with that crap and go dig around for info that will support what you know, even just by your own observations. Better to fight BS with facts even if they don't believe them.
