Mitt Romney: Still talking about 'THEM'

http://www.dailykos.com/story/2012/09/27/1137055/-Mitt-Romney-Still-taking-about-them

Garance Franke-Rupta and Steve Benen notice a striking similarity between Mitt Romney's new "I care about the 47 percent" ad and the original recording in which he slammed the 47 percent: In both videos, he refers to middle-class and poor Americans as "them."
Back in May, Romney said: "So my job is is not to worry about those people—I'll never convince them that they should take personal responsibility and care for their lives."

Today, he says: "President Obama and I both care about poor and middle-class families—the difference is, my policies will make things better for them."

The point here isn't that Romney should have said "us" instead of "them." The point is that by now he should be able to talk about this stuff without needing to decide between "us" and "them." Of course, that would force Romney to admit that we're all in this together, and that idea seems to be as alien to him as car elevators are to the rest of America.
