I think Romney's numbers are going to tumble after the first debate.
And then Obama will break out for an end around by the time the 2nd debate takes place.
And he will be streaking for a touchdown before the 3rd debate even takes place.
I can't remember who the moderator for that 3rd debate will be, but I don't think Romney will be able to stutter his way through it very well in order to get any voters who are waiting for the last minute to decide how they will vote this year.

(111,282 posts)on reality TV shows and then tune back out. They don't listen to what the candidates are saying. They're watching the candidates for charm, approachability, and charisma.
Romney will come across as forced. Obama will be his usual Joe Cool self.
For that reason, this year's debates will be a success for Democrats. However, you're right, only political junkies like us will bother to listen to the actual words and interpret what they mean.
