Joe Scab really excited this morning. MITT CAN WIN! THE POLLS ARE TIGHTENING!

I don't know what he smokes before that show sometimes...Al Hunt and Sam Stein tried gently to bring him back to earth, but Joe was just elated at the new polls in FL and VA...I felt like I had awakened in "upside down world" listening to him lay out his rosy scenario with great glee and jabber on about how great Mitt was during the primary debates...I had the feeling that the other panel members were feeling sorry for him...I switched over to Current and listened to Eliot Spitzer talking by phone with the sub for Bill Press...nice to hear rational folks...

Not to mention his dark, deep depression post-election.

will grasp at a straw, under the delusion that it is a log that will carry him to shore. Joe Scarborough is delusional.

He couldn't accept that McCain was losing and called every poll with the President in the lead an outlier. Then the day after the election, he had a temper tantrum on set because Obama had won.

when Olbermann told him to get the shovel when it was evident McCain was going to lose. He was furious.
