If Romney comes across as aggressive, Obama will look relaxed. If Romney tries to relax, Obama will go for the jugular.

You cannot win against an expert debater unless it's solely on the points being made. From what we've seen of Romney, there is no 'there' there. Ergo, he has already lost.

"the guy who fired your dad" rings very true. He's the bad boss. He's the arrogant, demanding restaurant patron whose tab is $200 but leaves a $5 tip. He's Bill Lumberg in "Office Space." You just can't like him, no matter how hard you try, because you know deep down that he doesn't like you. In fact, Mitt Romney doesn't like anybody who isn't Mitt Romney - everybody else is just the help. And it's impossible not to feel that contempt come right through your teevee screen.

Romney's just plain unlikable. He smells of elitism and snobbery; he bleeds it from his pores.

Moreover, his policies and statements actually reflect all of that.

There's lots of others I could have used as an example. Rmoney is total lacking in charm (compare W who was lacking in grace but had some charm). He knows what it's supposed to be and emulates it very well, but emulation is all it is; it comes off quite hollow. This illustrates another weakness of Mitt's: he just doesn't get it nor does he realize that he doesn't get it.
