If you think waging war on a country is good in order to oust its leader, please reconsider.

From President Obama's December 15, 2011 speech to Ft. Bragg troops:

"Policymakers and historians will continue to analyze the strategic lessons of Iraq -- that’s important to do. Our commanders will incorporate the hard-won lessons into future military campaigns -- that’s important to do. But the most important lesson that we can take from you is not about military strategy –- it’s a lesson about our national character."

Doctors and residents blame US weapons for catastrophic levels of birth defects in Fallujah's newborns.

Fallujah, Iraq - While the US military has formally withdrawn from Iraq, doctors and residents of Fallujah are blaming weapons like depleted uranium and white phosphorous used during two devastating US attacks on Fallujah in 2004 for what are being described as "catastrophic" levels of birth defects and abnormalities.

Dr Samira Alani, a paediatric specialist at Fallujah General Hospital, has taken a personal interest in investigating an explosion of congenital abnormalities that have mushroomed in the wake of the US sieges since 2005.

"We have all kinds of defects now, ranging from congenital heart disease to severe physical abnormalities, both in numbers you cannot imagine," Alani told Al Jazeera at her office in the hospital, while showing countless photos of shocking birth defects
----
"There are not even medical terms to describe some of these conditions because we've never seen them until now," she said. "So when I describe it all I can do is describe the physical defects, but I'm unable to provide a medical term."

(sorry if these pictures distrub you, but this is what the manufacturers of our biggest export - death and destruction - create)

describe this. We have had no re-investigations on 911, no investigations or charges against The Bush/Cheney misAdministration, and no charges, indictments against the Bush Administration for Torture, and war crimes.

Fail: Big Time.

evil. Those photos are a war crime. But we don't prosecute war criminals. If there was any justice in this world, the war criminals who started this war would have to live there and spend the rest of their days taking care of the maimed and the tortured they are responsible for.

The lack of outrage in this country is, imo, more than disturbing. If we could generate even a fraction of the outrage I've seen directed at, eg, Glenn Greenwald towards these hideous, heinous crimes and the criminals responsible for them, I would have a flicker of hope for this country.

...The "Centrist" Democrats who helped him.

Bush could NOT have done this without the active help of a big part of the Democratic Party,
and THAT is why we aren't seeing prosecutions.
Those Democrats who voted "YES" on the IWR (AUMF) share the responsibility.

If we are serious about Solving the Problem,
the problem must be correctly diagnosed.

You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their excuses.
