Is there really ANY room to favor Romney over President Obama in this debate? On what?

Answer for answer, President Obama has communicated his agenda. That's the most important accomplishment for the President, because, that's what concerns voters. In every instance, he made clear that his biggest priority is his fight for the interests of the vast majority of Americans.

From the very beginning of the debate, Pres. Obama put Romney on the defensive on taxes; resulting in the republican scrambling to defend banks, insurers, providers -- over actual individuals, patients . . . That's what I think provided the clear difference in what voters watching will take from this first debate.

I think it the challenge, the panic to win this debate, is clearly on Romney. I don't think he crossed the threshold to overcome the narrative about an heartless corporate suit, without any actual plan to do anything but slice and dice the government support Americans are relying on for their well-being.
