Do these debates even matter?

Remember, there are very few undecided voters in America. I think I heard that only 2% had not yet decided; everyone else had made up their mind on who they were going to vote for.

Let's just assume that Romney did do better than Obama in this debate. How many of those undecided who reside in a swing state are going to vote for Romney? Maybe a few. Was Obama's performance so bad that it changed anyone's mind to switch to Romney? I doubt it. Personally, I can't imagine a scenario where I would vote for Romney and I'm guessing that's true with all of you.

I think that all of the people who said that Romney won the debate had already made up their minds to vote for him anyway.
