His manically aggressive style was like that of someone who is trying to force you into a quick decision without thinking things through properly. After the debate was over last night, I thought that Romney had won -- not because I agreed with him, of course, but because I thought Romney had more successfully defended his position. Now that I've slept on it, however, I believe that his aggressiveness was a desperate move to squelch talk about his extremist views. All his lies were geared toward making himself seem more moderate. Ryan is there to keep the base stirred up while Romney's job is to make himself more palatable to moderates by skillfully lying or telling partial-truths about his policies. I think that a lot of people who believed last night that Romney had won the debate are going to have a different view now that they've had time to reflect.

Bullshit needs to be challenged. The sheeple have accepted the bullshit for far too long -- beginning with Reagan. Without vigorous counterattack, that same bullshit becomes accepted as fact.
