The tax plan that Romney denied was his is STILL on his web site!

Many papers are saying there were no major blunders or gaffes - so no game changer. This shows how low the bar was set for Romney - Even allowing him to deny the tax plan that he spent 18 months pushing AND WHICH IS STILL ON HIS WEB SITE:

Reform The Nation’s Tax Code To Increase Growth And Job Creation.

Reduce individual marginal income tax rates across-the-board by 20 percent, while keeping current low tax rates on dividends and capital gains. Reduce the corporate income tax rate – the highest in the world – to 25 percent.

Broaden the tax base to ensure that tax reform is revenue-neutral

Go down to

The Romney Program for Economic Recovery,Growth, and Jobs - it is on page 3

(I could get a link to just the paper by clicking on it, but it doesn't say it is from the Romney site.)

Given that this is on his site, it is no small wonder that President Obama's team actually thought it was his plan!

He actually left me entirely confused and I really, really tried to follow his logic. Already on Politifact he is getting raked over the coals.

I seriously hope that acting as if you had one too many coffees (which a Mormon isn't supposed to do) and lying about everything you ever did is really not the best debating in the world. It's actually pretty bad.

It is mind-boggling - even for Romney - that he argued that the plan that is on his official web site is not his plan. More amazing, he is being called the winner because of it!
