The primary was the flip.... last night's debate was the flop.

Obama should have seen it coming and prepared for it. I think he was thrown off guard by the re-emergence of "Mitt the Moderate". But the good news is that that gimmick really is a one-shot deal. A flip back to "severely conservative" is a losing proposition. Romney expended all of his capital last night. He's really got nothing left in his bag of tricks except for his "zingers".
