Anybody in Michigan seeing any Pete Hoekstra ads?

I'm in Flint, and haven't seen a single one, yet. I've seen plenty of really good ads for Senator Stabenow. I haven't seen him on the news, doing any campaign events. The ONLY thing I've seen is an article about him making a weekend trip to the middle east??? Seems an odd thing to do, with the election in just over a month.

Anyway, it just seems very peculiar. Or, maybe he thinks losing in a senate run is a good stepping stone to higher office. Ok, it's a stretch. Anyone have any theories?
