Am I the ONLY one really bothered by the mentioning of firing Big Bird?

...don't know, it's like some big guy next door calmly telling you he's going to kiss your dog in the mouth.

It's not appropriate and a nasty ass'd bully trick....

I think PBS should get with OFA and make a really devastating commercial...

3 - 4 generations of Americans grew up on Big Bird no?

It probably felt like a punch to the gut, and Romney knew there wasn't a thing he could say back about it. That took a lot of gall.

They are in the middle of a fund drive so there was loads of time to talk about it. They were pretty hot about it as you can imagine. And their listeners were too as evidenced by the comments they offered with their pledges. And the condescending way he spoke to Jim Lehrer was infuriating.
