That's the correct term for his behavior re: war.

to serve in the military, was usually classified as a draft dodger. It didn't mean what he did was illegal. It was just pretty cowardly. However, to be fair, since Viet Nam was an unjustified war, and very unpopular, most draft dodgers were considered heroes back then. Young men were encouraged to be draft dodgers so I can't really blame Mittens for his use of his Mormon missionary status to dodge the draft, so to speak.

The kind of bar was non-specific, however, as an ex-bartender, I can swear I had many Mormon customers and many didn't drink alcohol but other things on the menu that could be made with fruit juice mixes and no alcohol like virgin pina coladas.
