Romney suspends campaign to address crisis

Drawing a page from the 2008 GOP presidential campaign playbook, Mitt Romney hastily assembled a press conference this evening where he announced:

"Today's economic news is unprecedented. We are staring into the abyss of the lowest unemployment figure and highest stock market numbers since the start of the catastrophic Obama presidency. I call on my opponent to also suspend his campaign and travel to Washington immediately to work with my Republican colleagues on solutions to the growing employment problem."

And it must really suck to want America to fail so you don't have to change your stump speeches' references to the old unemployment numbers and can, maybe, score a political point or two.

Yes, in fact, the economy has been improving since he started his candidacy.

If Mitt can do that as a candidate, my God, just imagine how much better he'd do as president!

If Fox does that, I want a royalty check.

Consider the bind they are in - the campaign and PACs are pumping millions of dollars into the swing states.

They can't do that without impacting those economies.

So, injecting millions into those economies is not a good long term strategy to advance the argument that those economies aren't doing well.

Over time, the effort itself will improve them.

They'll soon start calling it the "Mitt Effect" even while their Congressional cohorts frantically act to reverse it.

Did anyone pay attention to Duval Patrick's speech at the Democratic National Convention? He said Mittens only wanted the job of governor and did not give a damn about doing the job!!

In the leaked 47% video, Mittens said if a situation like the Iran hostage crisis during Jimmy Carter's administration presented itself, he will take full advantage of it!! Did people pay attention to this? It was never talked about in the media. This explains why when the crisis in Libya erupted, Mittens jumped on it within seconds, hoping to pull a Reagan out of it.

Of course Mittens and the Republicans do not care about this country or it's people!! An improving economy, which should make everyone happy, is bad news for these filthy evil sociopaths!!

I do hope the secret service is monitoring Mittens and his hacks so they do not try to create a terrorist situation or crisis in the few days left before the election.
