it's about how well can you lie to get the job? The better you lie, the more the media holds you up!
See, that's not anything anyone ever learned on Sesame Street....!

Other nations look at us and laugh!

Don't people understand that we are going to war with that Asshole wins?!?!? They don't care. They hate the black man so much that they don't even care if their own children are at risk of being sent to war.

Hatred will be America's undoing.

The problem is that all the major media outlets, newspapers including our local here, and the news outlets, including CNN, NBC, and ABC all highlighted the problem. In order to get that unemployment number, we would have to be experiencing growth of 4-5% which we are not by other numbers. Our last GDP number I can recall is 1.3%. So at best, that number is a statistical anomaly from the Household survey. At worst, it is seriously questionable. I will address the seriously questionable in a minute.

According to the survey nearly half a million of us found work in September. Which is a lot of hiring, a lot more than any month previously, or for the last 29 years. It is unprecedented.

Now, I want to see President Obama re-elected. I think Mitt would be a disaster as President, and our nation would never recover. However, I don't trust those numbers either. They are too much outside the trend. They are just too good to be true.

I am not an attractive man, and I am well aware of it. Imagine my suspicion if the most beautiful woman in a bar came up to me and started to talk me up. My ego might buy it for a moment, but then my sense of reality would tell me that something is definitely wrong. That is how I feel when I heard the details of the unemployment numbers. That something is definitely wrong with them. I'm not saying that someone is intentionally lying. I'm not saying I'm buying the GOP Bullshit. I'm saying that for the first time in 29 years we had a .3% drop in unemployment. Even during the Clinton years where the unemployment never got over 5% we didn't have that kind of single month gains. It is at best highly improbable.

What do I think happened? I think it is a statistical anomaly. I think that a higher percentage of households surveyed had someone working. I think it was a fluke, and was totally accidental. When will I believe it? When the corrected numbers are released. These are the early numbers, the initial numbers. They'll be adjusted in another couple weeks. The October numbers will be released right before the election, and if I am right, and this is a statistical accident, then we will see the unemployment rate jump up, which will hurt our cause tremendously.

Now, to the seriously questionable. Let me begin by saying I love President Obama, and I want to see him serve a second term. But I don't trust the government, especially since the PATRIOT ACT. So I question everything I am told. Not because I am a neocon. But because I know that not everyone in the Government is one of us. FBI Agents have passed out tens of thousands of National Security Letters, which I think are one of the most egregious violations of the 4th Amendment imaginable. So if they lie, claiming that every damned investigation is a National Security Matter, what are the chances that someone in the DOL lied about his data? I'd say pretty fair odds. There are a lot of holdovers from the Bush cabal. I wonder if one of them fucked with the numbers, and will "find his error" later. What will President Obama's chances be then? When the numbers for September have to be adjusted because some jackass set him up? I smell a rat, I smell a set up. I think we are being set up, because inexplicably, the most beautiful girl in town is in the bar talking to me.

I would have believed 8.0% without question. But 7.8% is a really big jump, and it should have been proceeded by other jumps of increasing size. I have a hard time especially today, when I had to give a woman $20 for gas to get home to her parents house. She'd lost her job, her apartment, and was moving her daughter to live with her parents, because she couldn't make ends get close to each other on unemployment. I hope she makes it home. I hope that I am wrong, and those numbers are totally accurate. Because she was a nice lady, and life has been hard enough for her.
