Only federal, bank, and state employees got the day off here, schools were open as normal

I have had every day off for the last two years. You can do that with retirement.

was been aerially sprayed with some chemicals and I wanted no part of it. Tomorrow.

Work at a federal health care facility, so had I not worked at all I would have gotten paid 8 hours base pay. But I worked for 4 hours (will be paid time and a half) and the 4 hours I didn't work I will get base pay.

The rest of the facility was shut down, though (clinics, stores, cafe area, management, etc.) so it was nice and quiet.

Glad I have off Tuesday because the day after a long everything-shut-down weekend is horrible/busy.
