Oh my God, this is horrible! I'm planning my move to Canada!

Just wanted to be first, now that we've finally seen some competition in this election.

Ride it out. Ride it out.

If you're still feeling anxious, why not check to make sure friends and family are registered to vote and know where their polling places are (as easy as an FYI text message or Facebook post). Or volunteer to register some voters. Lots of state deadlines are TODAY!

Yes, the nattering nabobs of negativity are flailing. Fine by me. More people flocking to the polls.

I like your ideas about GOTV.

Figured this would get some attention (and poke just a little fun at the hand-wringers).

Brings up a thought, I wonder where the republics will claim to be "going" when President Obama wins re-election.
Somalia?

One of them has it in his sig line exactly like this: "See you all in Galt's gulch."

There's a boatload of stuff on the character, John Galt.

And lots of articles about Estonia.

Now I need to wash my eyes with bleach. Freepertrash. Blech.

makes you an illegal alien up there if you stay too long. And the US border patrol may not let you out without the proper papers-- just like Cuba.

I have a short list of requirements-- able to live on my Social Security check, a decent cuisine, English spoken, and hot women who like old fat guys.

Spain and Greece may fit the bill when housing prices drop some more, and I hear you can get cheap digs in Sweden. (Three outta four ain't that bad...)

I also recommend leaving cable news alone. The Chris Matthews rollercoaster, for example, is extremely predictable. He says something good one day, people are cursing him the next. Like clockwork.
