1. The dismal debate performance brought us to even. We have to look forward now, learn from it, but

not dwell on it

So tired of all the hand wringing - the latest from Andrew Sullivan. This only keeps the 'Obama is screwed' debate meme alive.

Four weeks left, let's see what happens.

8. I guess I am tired of the pejorative "hand-wringing". This always happens here. There are people

who are analytically prone who need to analyze the events until they figure it out - why it happened - what the implications are, etc. etc. doesn't make them bad - just different.

Maybe, in the future, DU could set up separate forum for the hand-wringers to get it out of their system

The relentless handwringing brings everyone down - better to let all the Debbie Downers wail to each other and give the rest of us a much-needed break.

After all, they're switching today to the infamous likely voter screen. Sounds like that's the one that puts it at even. No shock there. Likely always moves the numbers to Republican advantage, doesn't it? If they're just even in the likely numbers, I'll be breathing a HUGE sigh of relief.

7. My theory is kind of indirectly related to debate. I think part of Obama's support is sqwishy

meaning...I don't know a lot, but I know I have heard some things I don't like about Romney. But, to a low-knowledge voter - RobMe acted pretty ok at the debate - and O didn't rebut - so...

not dwelling but I think it's important to understand how to get to these low-knowledge people. We have got to bring them all back to the scary shit about R&R. First step on thursday - bring out the crazy ideas of Ryan and when he says Robme's the prez, say fine - but what if the unlikely happens and you do take over? would you carry out Robme's plans or revert to your own? Would you really throw women and doc's in jail if they had an abortion due to rape or incest.

thank god joe's reading this lunatic's book

It's an apples to orange comparison to the previous registered-voter sample.
