Looking back over the last decade and a half at all the astonishing assertions that has been put forth is that exit polls do not predictably reflect how people who have just exited the polls voted. There is little doubt that exit polls work everywhere in the world except the United States and in the United States they worked prior to November of 1999, but not since.

If there is just one question that needs to be asked about this situation it is this "Can you believe this?" Good question. Are polls, particularly polls in which you ask a person a question about something they have just done, any more accurate than a Horoscope? Is a Psychic equally as good at predicting an election as a Poll-taker standing right outside the voting booth?
