I Still See Obama as Winner

I'm amazed at how many still seem to think Obama lost, even though fact-checkers have reamed Romney. I understand there are also people on the other side, trying to draw false-equivalence between Obama and him on this subject, but Obama's inaccuracies didn't come close, as are most cases of false-equivalency these days.

It's pretty clear to me that undecided voters, seem to just be waiting for television pundits to tell them who to vote for. They have no idea what the issues are, they want to participate, but are unwilling to read enough to understand the issues, the people who are running. They don't even seem to care which side helps them economically.

I thought the SNL skit was good, having the independents ask ridiculous questions, about things we all know. It sort of flies in the face of the old saying "there are no stupid questions." But it's sad really, both that corporate talking heads use such terrible criterion to judge debate candidates, and that so many, that few percent still want to allow the rich-mans media to choose who they are going to vote for. If you don't know enough to make up your own mind, just stay home, as you're just as likely to screw yourself as to do yourself any good.

In a perfect world, I wouldn't have been able to say well before the debate to people who said "I can't wait, Obama's going to kick Mitt's butt," that "it doesn't matter. The media is going to declare Romney winner, no matter what." And they did, judging not on "what" was said, but the "style" with which it was delivered. That is almost as obscene as how many of us, of you even, seem to think Obama lost.

Watch the debate--turn off the television, and decide for yourself. Decide on the issues, whether you agree, and how honest the candidate was. Then check the next day to see if THEY agree with YOU.

They are on full meltdown mode there with quite a few saying PBO has lost the election.
