I so hated Chris Matthews a decade ago...

Now, he makes me want to nominate him for Prez or something.

Don't get excited...I'm not serious...I know Matthews is a finger-in-the-winder. But tonight he's fucking on fire. I wish he was as passionate when W was strapping on his codpiece for his "Mission Accomplished" photo op.

Tip O'Neill was probably spinning in his grave when Tweety was shilling for President Codpiece.

His finger may still be in the wind....but he knows which way the wind is blowing.

"We’re proud of our president. Americans love having a guy as president, a guy who has a little swagger, who’s physical, who’s not a complicated guy like Clinton or even like Dukakis or Mondale, all those guys, McGovern. They want a guy who’s president. Women like a guy who’s president. Check it out. The women like this war."

He and Scarborough are two of the reasons I now on very rarely watch MSNBC. I haven't seen Morning Blow in years.

Matthews would be Romney's best pal right now, if he thought Mittens was going to win.

He was a real bleeding heart liberal back then in his writing. When he went on TV, I discovered his disturbing habit of not letting his guests finish a sentence when he didn't agree with them. When he started bad-mouthing Clinton, I thought, as a bleeding heart liberal, he wasn't fond of Clinton's DLC leanings. But when he kept it up relentlessly when the affair Lewinsky came to a head, I started questioning his motives. It seemed personal to me. When he started having every Republican pundit on the air, who are today only allowed on Fox News, to diss Clinton during that time and shutting off anyone who even dared defend the President, I started to dislike him. When Bush was appointed President, and he had his nose stuck up his ass all that time and never criticized him, is when I stopped watching his show. I still don't except sometimes accidentally.

He seems to be okay with President Obama and now he's going after the Republicans, but how can he not? There isn't a sane or intelligent one left there and I think he has realized he threw his membership in with the wrong club. He could swing back to the bleeding heart liberal I once knew, however, it would never make me a reader or watcher of his again. I got his number and I wouldn't trust the sincerity of any of his ideas or opinions.

I seen him in the middle of a battle but got busy doing some other stuff around here and missed it earlier.

Thanks in advance if you can remember.
