Actress Stacey Dash, best-known for her appearance in the film “Clueless,” is having her core ripped over her recent endorsement of Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney. After mentioning her support for Romney on Twitter, fans went ballistic on Dash, calling her every name in the book.

“Vote for Romney. The only choice for your future,” Dash tweeted.

That’s when the hounds came after her for expressing her opinion.

“You’re an unemployed black woman endorsing @MittRomney. You’re voting against yourself thrice. You poor beautiful idiot,” said one of her respondents.

Dash didn’t back down, but kind of did. When you’re a celebrity depending on black people to support you, you pretty much have to do what they tell you to do.

“My humble opinion… EVERYONE is entitled to one,” Dash responded, mistakenly presuming that most black people respect the concept of freedom of speech.

I believe she has the right to support whoever she wants, but She acts like her taxes are going to skyrocket under the president. LMFAO!

that's how it works for the GOPers. They claim the world ends if Obama wins, your only two choices are to accept it as true, or praise them for their unique outlook on life. Have an opinion yourself and they smear you as intolerant. She has the makings of the next Tim Tebow.

American politics has shifted towards the right. There is little evidence to show leftest extremist have taken over the democratic party. For instance the Obama administration is a moderate conservative administration. The extreme leftist of the DU are fighting to keep a moderate conservative administration. There just isn't much extreme left in the mainstream to influence politics. There are extreme leftist at the DU, but the DU is hardly mainstream and note even though they spent 4 years telling us the extreme left would abandon Obama, we're all here fighting to keep him. I just don't see the both sides do it to the same degree. If the extreme left were so intolerant Obama would be toast. The moderate conservatives are winning and have been winning for a long time in national politics.

supported General Lee over General Grant. She has a right to her opinion. People also have the right to call her out for the idiot she is. There were actually a few slaves who fought for the confederates and yet reaped the benefits of freedom when it came. There were black people who refused to join the Civil Rights movement and were afraid to "upset" things but reaped the benefits that came with the civil rights victories.

There will always be black people who will fight against their own best interests. Just as there are poor and working class white people voting against their own best interests. Many times such white people are called ignorant white fools or trash and I see no reason why she shouldn't get the same treatment.

I notice she did not go into depth on why she would vote for Romney. One thing being under reported is the number of black ministers preaching to their congregation that they should not vote for President Obama because of his support of gay rights.

I do believe democrats are not combating this enough. We need to realize that churches cannot be counted on to help get out the vote and may actually be working against the president.

don't like black people. You have to be pretty clueless to not understand that. Race is an issue because she has chosen to vote for a white man who holds her in contempt because of various reasons and race is one of them. If the republican nominee were Herman Cain it would also be stupid to vote for him because of other reasons.

It just happens that Romney spent many decades indoctrinated in a religion that openly preached blacks were cursed and inferior. He holds a high ranking status in this religion. Despite their so called denunciation they still follow policies that keep blacks from holding offices and positions of authority. Do you seriously think someone like Mitt cares about Mrs. Dash? She would truly be in the 47%.

I am more interested in why she is not voting for President Obama and I notice she won't tell that part. I would bet her reasons are the ones that are bigoted and ignorant.

I would actually like for her to be able to speak and have her real reasons out in the open. Unfortunately shutting down people and their views is very popular these days and it is on both sides.

There was a time liberals were willing to have what we called "rap sessions" and sometimes it got heated but people were allowed to talk. As I told someone else the biggest critics today of a show like "All In The Family" would probably be liberals. They would consider Archie Bunker politically incorrect and want him off the air.

The reason she is voting against her own interest has a bit, but not the majority, to do with skin color.

The biggest reason she is voting against her own interest is that the only people - the ONLY people - who do better under repigs are people with 9 figure or more assets. And they're planning on getting rid of the Middle Class and turning them into homeless people.
