the question she relayed from her "hero" friend, who sounds like the preachiest soldier in the world.
What kiind of possible answer is going to be of use to anyone watching? None, she is just scoring some kind of points with her preachy pundit friends. She should have used that time to ask about global warming, or even anything about the environment, which broad topic hasnt even come up at either of the first two debates, unless I missed it.

(11,589 posts)I don't think it was proper for her to bring that friend's question into the debate. I would have MUCH rather heard a question about the VA and PTSD and generally how we are going to treat our vets - those that HAVE come home and those that will.
She missed a big chance to get the candidates to talk about Vet issues.

On the subject of lies, Chuck Todd said on Charlie Rose that there weren't any lies in the debate. All Ryan did was lie.
