So uh, how'd the debate go?

Forgive me but I was unable to watch the Vice Presidential debates. Did anyone see them? What were some of the highlights?

(Yes, I've seen plenty of threads here that suggest that Mr. Ryan was taken to the woodshed, but I still invite folks to give their summaries here. I love reading the array of DUer descriptions of what happened--everyone sees something nobody else does.)

and Florida has a lot of seniors. So I think Biden helped him and Obama in Florida.
Biden will undoubtedly be parodied on SNL for laughing so much. But I'm extremely glad he laughed.
And I want Obama to laugh whenever Romney tells one of his lies.
I do have to say, though, that I thought Ryan held up well, better than I expected him to.
There were a few moments that might have made him storm out of the place.
But, he seemed unflappable. I give him credit for that. But Biden clearly won, in my opinion.
It was much better than the first debate, where Romney was hyped up on speed and Obama was practically asleep.
Just my take on it...

IMHO, VP Biden smiled a lot, which I believe was his way of keeping his composure after all the vague answers and off on a tangent responses given by Paul Ryan. I listened intently to both candidates, and not once did Paul give specific answers to questions asked about his party's plans for America. I felt he said alot without committing to anything at all. His part of the debate reminded me of the lyrics sung by Charles Durning as the Govenor of Texas in the movie TBLW in Texas. I'll refresh:

Ooh I love to dance a little side step...now they see me, now they don't I've come and gone...
and ooh I love to sweep around the wide step, cut a little swathe and lead the people on...

And OMG, Paul Ryan does bear a striking resemblance to Eddie Munster and Gov. Mitt Romney a distinguished Count Dracula as noted in some of the posts I've read on the internet.
