Biden was aggressive and assertive.

Judging from the comments I see from some of the talking heads it looks like they would prefer that he'd roll over and play dead and make it easy for Lyin'. This was the only time the two of them were to debate. I would have been disappointed if Joe hadn't taken this debate as seriously as he did.
