I don't understand why it is funny? Making him own what he's blocked in congress?

Thanks, I missed that. I like how Joe kept calling him "my friend" like they do in congress also.

Agreement notwithstanding, Ryan is a congressman.

Point out his congressiveness and make him stand and take responsibility for all the bs he's pulled, all he's blocked.
Thanks.

(27,461 posts)8. Biden referred to Congress's low approval ratings at one point
which I assume is the reason Ryan didn't want to be called Congressman.

(5,810 posts)11. If the MOU specifically stated that the moderator was to call him Mr.---
Why did she introduce him as Congressman Paul Ryan? I don't think I heard anyone call him Mr. Ryan all night. Did I miss something?
And I heard on MSNBC this afternoon that there was a Memorandum of Understanding spelling out the rules and one of them concerned how Ryan would be addressed. He was to be called Mr. (I as never clear on who was supposed to call him Mr.)
Joe referred to him as "Congressman" but I didn't keep track of how many times he was called that.
I had to laugh because there really was nothing Paul could do about it. If he made a comment he would have looked like the petulant child that he appears to be. So he had to just suck it up. Couldn't happen to a more deserving guy.
