No one should have been surprised by Biden's performance.

I started following politics around the time I graduated high school in 1989 and Joe Biden was always one of my favorite senators to watch during floor debates. And let's not forget how he dispatch Sarah Palin in 2008. By the way, is it true that he took down some bikers with a pool stick in the 70's. I heard something about it, but I cannot find a link.

He is a "regular guy" with a fascinating life. He's been there and done that. He's at ease just living his life and saying what he thinks. He's also sharp as five tacks on foreign policy--unlike the Mittster, who insulted the Brits at the Olympics and thinks our greatest enemy is Russia...

I like Joe a lot. I think he performed superbly this evening, and he beat Lyin' Ryan like a rented mule.
