It was pure joy to see a competent, experienced, rational human being blow that bullshit artist Ryan out of the water last night. For whatever Biden might be or might not be, he presented the argument for electing Democrats over Republicans clearly and unambiguously. It is about time.

The reason that Biden could laugh over the pronouncements of the Liar, was that the RW arguments are not only not based in fact or the real world as it exists, but they are puerile and simplistic. Of course, that's how America is now trained to respond:

These 'mantras' defined multiple generations of RW sloganeering and their diatribes and bumper stickers were omnipresent. Last night, Biden was able to climb out of the pit using simple logic and facts to disarm this inadequate poseur who is just another RW hack of modest intelligence, probably one standard deviation above the norm, who has been crowned the 'brains' of the Republican Party. Well, I suppose that compared to the woman who said that if English were good enough for Jesus, then it should be good enough for everyone else, I suppose he's a genius, but quite frankly, the new rule of thumb is that if a Republican says something, then the opposite is true. If he or she accuses a Democrat of a vice or ill, then he or she is guilty of that very behavior or thought-style.
