I've read and heard the MSM and some of them think Biden did well--very well--and others (mostly the usual suspects) are parroting the GOP line that Biden was too tough or shrill with poor little baby Lyin' Ryan. But, the VP accomplished his goal(s): 1) He got the MSM to stop talking (non-stop) about last weeks debate and most importantly (2) he enthused the democratic base which was down cast due to the president's (admittedly) weak performance last week. He gave us hope again and I believe this will also translate into better numbers in polls as pollsters this last week were saying that Dems were demoralized and it was affecting the 'likely voter' model because suddenly the GOP more enthused about voting than Dems.
Good job, Mr. Vice-President!!

(129,227 posts)No he didn't. In fact, the complete trashing of the President continues unabated and has gotten even worse with more and more divisive descriptions because now they are trying to divide and conquer by doing the "See? Obama "failed" and (fill in the blank = "Clinton", "Biden" was stronger", although he "lost".
There were alot of us who were NOT "demoralized" and to continue to perpetuate that meme is playing into the divide and conquer strategy and too many are happily playing right into it.

(3,590 posts)rude and he does not have a plan. The piece was from Politco and read that Ryan seemed like a spectator at his own debate. Morning Joe seemed like a wake to me this am. I am not doubting you have a point though.
