Ryan was trying to distance himself from the obstructionist congress and by referring to him as Congressmen, Joe was pushing home the point that Ryan and his buddies are the reason nothing seems to be getting done.

What was the point of that? Was he trying to distance himself from himself and his positions? Trying to pretend he's not part of Washington? Kinda stupid if you ask me.

curious as to what happened to the idea. Did she say fuck that shit or did she just forget and used what came naturally?
