When they bring up how they "try and work with Dems", we need to remind them of this quote by their Senate leader. Plenty of missed opps in the last two debates for a reminder of this. Betting on failure, you bet.
The single most important thing we want to achieve is for President Obama to be a one-term President.

They could highlight all of the problems the country was facing at the time and McConnell's words in response to that, and then show the improvement since then without an ounce of Republican help.

so far, neither Obama nor Biden has brought this up. Obama's team has to use the tools at their disposal and they're leaving important stuff on the table so far.
