Conservatives believe that 47 percent of us are slackers and takers that suck off the government teat. They oppose affordable healthcare, living wages, freedom of conscience, reproductive rights, GLBT rights, freedom of and from religion, the right to organize labor and the right to vote. They do represent evil but they are of the mindset that God demands these things. Their beliefs are insane and mean spirited. The 1percent is pushing for this because they would not be subject to these conditions.

IMHO, you can sometimes find a common ground with a conservative, or at least find a civilized way to agree to disagree. Neocons are another animal. They are selfish, evil, greedy, spiteful bastards who would throw anyone and everyone under the bus, if it would make them a profit.
