I just had a 'funny' thought...

You know, Ryan mentioned Jack Kennedy last night, and of course, those of us old enough to recall Danny Quayle's destruction in his debate in 1988 held our collective breaths and awaited Biden's response. We were not disappointed...

Interestingly, I "bet ten thousand dollars" that Ryan had watched and/or heard about that fifty times during his debate 'prep' and the name 'Kennedy" was so ingrained that he blurted it out. It's sort of like when you're learning how to drive and you're so afraid of hitting the telephone pole that you fixate on it and the car drifts toward it because you can't see anything else.

Just a thought...

Kennedy lowered taxes and the economy grew. But if that is the best he can do...when Reagan and Clinton raised taxes and it grew; Bush lowered them a lot an it shrunk.
