Dear DU. Bring back the awesome pics of the President's rallies, and such.

I don't even recognize DU anymore. All it seems to be is whining and hankie-clutching. Where are the awesome pics from the rallies? The President is drawing tens of thousands of people to his events. He is out there fighting for us, and all I'm seeing is cry, whine, and sniffle, and talking about what the freepers are doing.

It's like the Invasion of the Body Snatchers here. Who are you? And what have you done with the DUers??? Geez... more like a wake than a winning campaign.

When I used to make those kinds of posts it was because I could hotlink (shame on me) from sites like Yahoo images and Daylife.com. Unfortunately, n=both Yahoo and Daylife have re-desigend their image sites so that not only is it nearly impossible to find a decent series of news photos on a particular keyword search but hotlinking those pics is foregeddaboudit.

If I had the broadband connection, I would save and upload the pics to an image-hosting site, but I don't. I'm just a very poor gal with limited bandwidth.

you need to check out the Obama Diary.

Quite a few people here never realize how hard POTUS, FLOTUS and VPOTUS are working on the campaign trail, because MSNBC and CNN are never going to cover it.

I check back in occasionally and sometimes see flashes of the old DU, but I have to tell you the Body Snatchers have been around a long time and like to assert themselves pretty well.

Best thing for all of us to remember is who exactly the enemy is, and to watch the back of the one guy who had them (the enemy) swearing to obstruct everything he proposed on the very day he was sworn into office. It was and remains a goddamned conspiracy against the Black Man in the White House, and the good of the nation be damned.

Remember. Who. The. Enemy. Really. Is.
