Face it. The Facts do NOT matter to about 30% of Americans

And the ticket that is chock full of ideological demagogues will reach into that and stroke it.

You will know them by their incessant posting of biblical verses regarding the debate last night. The ones who are crying that big bad Joe was mean to poor liddle Paul. You know what folks? If you can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen.

Joe handed them their ass last night--he took Ryan to the woodshed and did NOT let a lie stand without acknowledging it as such and the 30% of Americans are angry because Joe laughed.

...have an I.Q. less than 100. And it's that half that will never understand why that statement must always be true.

And it probably won't be going down anytime soon, given the way republicans are gutting science education in so many states. These are the same people who don't believe in man-made climate change. To them it's all just a big conspiracy by those secular, elitist scientists who have some secret "socialist" agenda.

12. It's much higher than 30% It's well over 50%. Maybe 70%.

Sometimes the ones who don't care about the facts vote on our side & sometimes they don't.
Then there is that REALLY hardcore contingent who always go against us. That number I would say is 40%.
The ones who go either way I say is maybe 30%.

That 30% I described goes where the wind blows or who makes the biggest impression on them.
That 40% I described is solidly adverse to the facts at all times.
The other 30% is us. We care about the facts. We care about truth.
And we're willing to use reason, intuition, logic to determine that truth.
We may have disagreements in our search for the truth but we are always looking for truth.

But trust me we're a minority & the majority are the people who don't care about the facts by far.
30% to 70%.
It's just that 30% of that 70% can be swayed from time to time.
That's why this country runs like this & why we have to fight for so many sensible policies.
Sometimes we win those weathervanes to our side & sometimes we don't.
And we ALWAYS have to fight that block who never sways.

It's WAY higher than 30%, Horse with no Name.
